EVmatch to Host Ribbon Cutting Celebration for New EV Charging Stations at Affordable Housing Community in Palo Alto, CA

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., July 22, 2025 — EVmatch, a leading provider of shared electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, is excited to announce the completion of a new EV charging station installation at Colorado Park Apartments, an affordable housing multi-family community in Palo Alto, California. A public ribbon cutting event will be held to celebrate the launch on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at 1141 Colorado Avenue, Palo Alto, California.

The celebration will feature remarks from EVmatch CEO, Heather Hochrein, representatives from the California Energy Commission (CEC), the City of Palo Alto, and local housing partners. Guests will hear from project partners, view the newly installed charging stations, and learn more about the importance of equitable access to clean transportation.

The project is part of EVmatch’s ongoing focus to bring affordable, reliable, and publicly accessible EV charging to underserved communities — particularly residents of multi-family housing. The project was made possible through funding support from the California Energy Commission’s Clean Transportation Program and the City of Palo Alto.
